Well-Im a Jill-of-all-trades;Master-ess of some.Have been a survivor of many things but one of my biggest blessings are the birth & raising 3 sons. Went back to college in my mid 30's-Psych major. I wanted to be a counselor/therapist when I grew up.I did it & began working in the mental health field-minoring in working w/troubled teens. As I eased into this field-I finished raising my boys-alone n w/Gods help! They all graduated n are living their lives following their dreams n ambitions! Im so very proud! I worked in the recovery field as a Drug n Alcohol Counselor in residential a treatment center. My health began to deteriorate after a couple of years-diagnosed w/Fibromyalgia=Arthritis=Chronic Fatigue syndrome...eventually,major depression hit. Im still in the transitional stage; mourning the loss of a career in helping others; because I was helped over 10 years ago-I was admitted into residential treatment-for alcoholism/addiction. Then began my journey of self discovery-finding out about my authentic self. The journey continues...and Im still a work in progress.
